Wattcher is suitable for small businesses and office buildings. Think of shops, warehouses, workshops and offices with 5 to 10 people. Payback times are short, within 3 to 6 months the costs for the Wattcher are recovered. Thus saving is lucrative! The Wattcher is currently being used in schools and in retail projects in Zwolle, Amsterdam and Den Bosch, where several shops keep track of their energy consumption.

Sustainable shopping in Den Bosch

Den Bosch runs a project in the 'Vughterstraat, Sustainable street". Shops were awarded to save energy in their store. Retailers or companies who use this Wattcher are identified by a green heart on the shop window and green footsteps on the pavement.  Alderman Schouten: "With this Wattcher we want to help shops to get more aware of their energy usage".

The alderman hinted that companies have the largest part of energy consumption in the city. 'Sustainable energy and sustainable action belong together, " said alderman Schouten".
