Realised saving results

The Wattcher is a convenient display of energy that the power consumption of the house shows . Below you can see the results of different save routes with the Wattcher.

The graph shows that the average savings are 12,8% on a large group of circa 800 Wattcher Online users.

A mere 15 % of users are using more energy than in the previous year (see purple bar charts).This is mainly due to a change in family status or home situation, but also comes with a low involvement in the Wattcher and own energy consumption.

The group from 0 to 12,8 % have saved, but no large amounts yet. This may be because they already are economical, or because the Wattcher is used in a quiet "way", in addition to all the daily hustle and bustle.

Interestingly is the group from 12,8 % to 45 %. This is approximately 40 % of the people who play a major and leading role: they show that you can save if you are actively motivated in your own home.

The group of 45 % and more are the exceptional cases. During the measured period they have really done everything to save a lot of energy, for instance by participating in an energy saving contest.
